rushing a sorority as a sophomore transfer?

I'm thinking of transferring here next fall (not official but I'm confident) and I was wondering if it'd be hard to get into a good sorority if I'm a sophomore transfer. Also, do you need to be in greek life to have fun/make friends or is greek life not a huge thing? Thanks so much! :)

no its not hard at all as a soph you'll be fine and no its not a big deal at all if you dont join.
