sigep, sigchi, sae

I'd say sig chi is best. Then sig ep. SAE is more like a slightly cooler version of Pi Kapp that is in love with IFC.
Sig chi is probably chiller and more like a typical frat. It's diverse and has harder pledging and hazing but their brotherhood is tighter. Better parties, more stuff on campus. More different types of guys.
Sig ep has some really chill guys that get smokeshows but some of them are kind of spoiled rich kid snobs, even for a school like UM. They think they're pretty boys so some of them are tools. No real pledging, just work outs and partying. Kids kind of do their own thing, less brotherhood.
SAE is alright if you get cut from the top 2 and want an easier pledge semester.

SAE has been the best fraternity on campus for more than a decade.
People are clearly jealous but SAE had by far the best Fall pledge class. SAE also was the ONLY fraternity chosen for Top House by College Weekly. Just because some of you guys got in trouble with the school doesn't make SAE less chill.
Sig chi had 4 kids in their last pledge class. That's not exactly top tier.
The order is:
1. SAE
2. Sig Ep
3. Sig Chi

I can see that. But I think that having no house provides opportunities as well as drawbacks. On the plus side if you are off campus it's a lot harder to get popped for beers, in trouble with fun hating Greek life office.
On the down side being off campus means people need to uber out there or get pledge taxis so your parties and club nights need to be better than they would be if you just want to throw down on San Amaro.
Sig chi older guys are better and sig ep younger guys are better. This pledge class will decide which is better going forward. Kind of a tie now.
SAE is not really competing on the same level. You're not going to get a sig chi or sig ep bid and choose SAE unless you're the softest kid to ever live and dream of being on ifc
