junior from out of state?

by: Honey Bee

Hi y'all! I'm transferring to UNCC next year and I will be a junior (been doing CC in GA for last two years.) What do you think my chances of getting a bid are? I really wanna be in a sorority, and I just hope that me being a junior transfer won't hurt my chances!

Some sororities accept juniors, some do not. Don't be surprised when you go through rush and you get cut from one of your favorite organizations. Besides that, I say go for it. There are tons of upperclassmen that rush and get a bid.

You'll be fine. Everyone accepts juniors and seniors.

No, not everyone accepts juniors/seniors. I'm in ZTA here and it's very uncommon for us to take upperclassmen. I'm sure other organizations will!

Let's be real, y'all can't afford to be picky about age.

I rushed as a junior and got a bid. Some sororities only want freshman or sophomores though from what I've been told. You should want who wants you!
