Its below mid. No greek row for the frats which is why it sucks

Greek life is growing big time. Sororities are getting better, and the fraternities are starting to get more competitive. Parties are getting bigger and bigger.

greek life here is really growing, not great as of now but it is becoming quite a bit larger and competitive

Greek life is lame af here. Almost none of the frats have houses and greek village it just bunch of dorms that are copy-pasted. Parties dont even compare to those at UNC, NCSU, or ECU. Only positive thing about Charlotte's greek life is that its cheap. Since they dont do a lot, you dont have to pay a lot

Greek life here really is what you make it. Yes, it is kind of smaller because a lot of the better fraternities and sororities have been kicked off, but it is rebuilding and has gotten so much better in just the last two years. If you really want to go greek, do it. If you put forth actual effort for it, it will teach you a TON and you will also get to meet more people than you ever expected. Go to rush events/rush week, meet people, find a group you actually like (instead of just going off of what you hear), and join. You will not regret it.

Greek life is dead at uncc

Sure, greek life isn't huge at UNCC like other southern schools, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. There's campus housing for the sororities and the houses are just okay, but it is what you make of it. Like anything, you have to put something in to get something out of it. GLO is pretty strict on hazing so it's very minimal. Every sorority and frat has stereotypes but if you're thinking about going greek, try to ignore them and find the org that you see yourself in, one that has people you genuinely like.
