I think they have some open events you attend and if they like you they'll invite you back. Try checking out the websites of the ones you're interested in, they should say on there how to join.

There is no mgc recruitment costs. Events are hosted by the chapters in order for you to get to know them better. Some may have an application fee if you do decide to join and dues that you would have to pay however the cost is not ridiculous and is manageable.
