Chapter 3: The Confrontation
The night spiraled into a whirlwind of emotions. The party raged on, but Garkus felt like he was in a storm. He found himself cornered by both Muben and Yeric later in the evening, each wanting answers.
“I deserve to know, Garkus,” Muben pressed, his voice tight. “Is it me or him?”
Garkus looked at them both, the gravity of the moment hitting him hard. “I care about you both, but I can’t keep pretending it’s easy. You both mean a lot to me.”
Yeric stepped forward, his gaze intense. “So what’s it going to be? You can’t just string us along.”
Garkus felt the weight of their expectations pressing down on him. “I don’t want to lose either of you,” he confessed, his voice breaking.
“Then you need to make a choice,” Muben said, his tone softer but firm. “We can’t go on like this.”
