PSA to all incoming Freshmen
by: Incoming PnmsThe only info new pnms need is Tridelt, Aopi, and Aephi are rejects and just try to scrape together as many girls as they can get. If you are not looking to join a sorority for the typical reasons these are the ones to join because they are the least social (like no fraternity relationships at all). Everywhere else you will essentially have similar experiences. This is no hate whatsoever just a psa so girls don’t join with the wrong expectations. I was in one of these chapters and I honestly wish I dropped before accepting a bid but that is my own fault and I don’t want other girls to make the same mistake with any false pretenses. Rush is a very stressful process and just make sure you stay true to your own self expectations otherwise you will always regret it. The reason I say this is so you don’t spend your entire time in the chapter worrying about getting enough girls to survive staying on campus (it’s not fun and really emphasizes the whole i’m just paying for friends because there is no budget for anything else). clearly all the posts, replies, and upvotes are from one person who got dropped/dropped aopi and is still super bitter/insecure about herself but pretending she's the bigger person. very strange behavior. probably for the best she's not in any sorority. as a senior, pmns, please take these posts with a grain of salt because I've seen this behavior directed at every sorority on campus from people who burned bridges, from low to whatever you consider "top" tier. if you dropped a "low tier" srat, they're now mean and rejects who couldn't help you bag a frat guy. if you dropped a "higher tier" one, they're mean and have no sisterhood and stole your man. get over yourself and go find friends elsewhere if sororities don't work for you. there's tons of clubs on campus.
