why are lambda and sigep mid

why are lambda and sigep "mid" houses? how are they different from better houses?

they have lower quality guys. the best/hottest/smartest usually go to the better houses where there’s more people like them. not saying lambda or sigep don’t have good people but they usually have less and the average guy in the top houses is “higher quality”

they dont have pledge processes like snu fiji aepi so they leave space for weird guys to get into the chapter.

houses with pledge processes typically have better quality guys. even aepi has some wierdos. every chapter always has some weird guys. even pike.

unfortunately these chapters do have a good amount of cool guys but they are not selective like better houses. they are very try-hard but no matter how hard they try they havent earned their letters and will always be mid as a house.
