real rushing advice

if you’re an incoming freshmen or someone who’s going to/considering to rush at UCSD, PLEASE READ THIS!!


- first off, i know it’s so easy to lurk on this site but avoid lurking & fully relying on this site. It’s not a good reflection of Greek life at UCSD and VERY biased, most people at UCSD don’t even look/check/post on this site, only those who are obsessed with rankings. Do not let this site influence your rush experience and you should solely make your own opinions about every chapter with your own personal interactions with them and instead off of some random site.

- ^ with that being said, again do not let this site fully influence your choices prerush/during rush! (Disclaimer: all reviews/opinions about the chapters all have some truth to them but don’t let it stop you from considering a chapter that can give you the best memories!)

- Overall, UCSD Greek Life in general is very welcoming! There’s a spot for everyone, no matter your age, interests, race, etc. Again, majority of people don’t care a whole about ranks and tend just hang out with the people they like. Those who are stuckup about ranks are people who care about “high school popularity”, unless if you’re into that go for it!

hopefully fall recruitment happens! otherwise it’ll most likely happen in winter.
