informal recruitment vs cob
by: curiousI know not all sororities do informal recruitment but if you know members in a sorority (not doing informal) can they invite you for cob?

informal and cob are basically the same thing, chapters only do it if theyre below the quota amount of people per quarter so like even if they’re under quota by 1 or 2 they have to do cob to get that last 1 or 2 people towards the quota. a member can invite you if the chapter is doing cob, but if the chapter is at quota or above they’re not allowed to take any more members until formal recruitment

sororities dont HAVE to do COB if they're under quota. a lot of sororities wont go through the process of cob (extra $), initiation, rituals, etc just for 1 or 2 people.
