Go to info night and talk to all the fraternities. Find 3 that you enjoyed talking to. By Thursday which is arguably the most important rush event for rush week you should have narrowed it down to ur top 2. Never suicide just one fraternity, that's the worst thing you can do.

why do you say thursday is the most important? just want to know
also, what happens if a few brothers do not come out to rush events at all?

Becausethursday events are usually formal/invite only. Also, right after these events is when the fraternities start their meetings to give out bids. Bids usually need to be signed and submitted to the school before 3 pm on Friday for you to join the fraternity. So if you get an invite to the invite that usually means they like you as a PNM and you might get a call at like midnight to go collect your bid if you were lucky enough to get it.

It's not really about selectivity. If you fit well into their brotherhood and the fraternity sees that you'll get in. Else, it's hard to fake your way into a brotherhood that isn't for you. Second, rush events are all in the same week, but not the same times. Grab a rush card and look at where/when things are happening.

rankings don't matter - go out there, talk to each fraternity, ask them questions that are important to you, and really find where you think you'd be the happiest. the bonds you make with these guys far outweigh the "rank/tier" ppl on this website seem to obsess over.
