Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.0 DG is basically on top, or tied with Pi Phi. But DG is only on top, ONLY because they're attractive, and DTF 24/7. I've been at this school for less than a year and I can't tell you how many times I've heard "Well, you know what they say--nothing goes down faster than an anchor." There is no denying they are attractive girls but that is all they have to offer. They don't excel in academics, they don't really have a great philanthropy, and they barely know each other or just hate each other.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 2.6 During recruitment, things seem great, but as soon as you pledge DG, everything changes. DG has the highest rate of girls dropping out of their sorority for a reason. Girls dislike them, guys have no respect for them, and they are mean to each other. Don't be fooled by their first impressions, they aren't nearly as friendly or pretty as they pretend to be.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 2.8 Potential rushees, If you are the type that comes to college with the immature 'high school' mentality that cares about outside appearances and what is considered 'cool' and 'popular', then by all means go for DG. They act nice on bid day, but once bid day is over you'll see that everything was very fake. The sisterhood is weak. If you are looking for a true sorority experience, go with a more genuine group of girls that will treat you like a sister.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.2 No doubt these girls are still considered a top house. Very involved! But their high deactivation rate and lack of sisterhood is becoming really apparent and is hindering their ability to rush good girls.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 4.6 DG is super involoved on campus, and always supports the philanthropic events (this may have to do with their competitiveness). Their sportsmanship shows during ISS (Inter Sorority Sports) where they consistently dominate. Ya, they may come across as stuck up, but if you just talk to them you realize theyre just happy in their sorority which translates to their strong sisterhood. To sum it up, DG is everything anyone can look for in a sorority.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.4 I am a sigma chi. With that said, we do a lot of things with DG. My opinion? Wish we didn't. The newer girls are just not that cool or hot. The only people I see holding it down for DG are the older girls. They may be somewhat attractive, but with "triton eye" it really is hard to tell. I honestly think KKG is top.
