University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.0 The social scene at UCSD is definitely improving. I can already see a big change from the time I was a freshman and now that I'm a senior. School is doing better at promoting Greek life, there are more social events, Greek involvement in sports is on the rise and we are going D1 next quarter!

University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.8 If you actually are "Socially Dead," then you must not be involved in Greek Life. A general rule at UCSD is that people without social skills stay out of Greek Life while people who actually want to have some fun join.

University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.0 No housing and strict police in the area out to get us. Still worth joining because otherwise UC socially dead lives up to its name. Greek life is the best way to get involved on campus and find community.

University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.8 There's definitely a social scene here, it isn't crazy but your college experience isn't gunna be boring. Greek life is the way to go for anyone relatively social and the negative connotations that usually go along with frats and srats don't really apply here. Going Greek is honestly one of the best parts of my college experience at this great academic school.
