I’m so confused why it seems like A few of Theta’s new members are so upset when nothing has happened????? I live with thetas and they were saying how some new mems were posting on here because they didn’t feel like they were a part of the sisterhood but they also haven’t gone to events to meet people?? I just don’t get it

I don’t understand I loved this org with recruitment and the ladies I spoke to and now I’m regretting it all don’t rush theta. I wish I saw this page before it. I had options with other orgs and now I’m STUCK between rude “sisters” and no emphasis on sisterhood due to the fake ness.

I FEEL THE SAME WAY. I know 3 other girls in our pledge class who feel the same, we’ve all been talking about dropping.

Why do you feel this way? I’m curious exactly what has happened to make you feel like there’s no sisterhood? I’ve been active for years and I’ve met my best friends in Theta. I would not consider myself one of the “popular” girls or anything, but I’ve only ever had great experiences with sisters, even ones I’m not as close with. I’ve only seen Theta love with the exception of this petty online stuff. Hopefully the people who feel icky about how things are going actually reach out to someone (officers OR real ass adult advisors) to try to fix the problem. All the officers want to make this experience great for everyone. If we didn’t want you to be in the org, you wouldn’t have gotten a bid. Keep an open mind, some people are shyer than others and that can come off as intentionally igoring people

i promise you there are kind souls in theta, it just takes time to get adjusted into a new organization and meeting the sisters. I've only been in theta for a year and my relationships with them has only gotten stronger, but it has taken time. I'm sorry that you've had a bad experience so far but its important to keep an open mind since you only get out of theta what you put into it.

I did not post that comment that you are referring to. The post on the discussion page was right. You are all constantly making us feel worthless because all you do is invalidate our feelings. We can’t help feeling this way. Thanks for making me feel better. You must be a Theta. This only solidifies my opinion.

super nice girls!!! Honestly the best/most underrated sorority ! Theta deserves more credit. Unlike the others, they don’t backstab or get messy at parties. Quality people :)

So I know a couple of thetas and they’re cool but last night at recruitment it was weird to see that they were all acting close knit but I thought there was drama? I’m very confused but I had a great time I just want to know what I’m getting myself in to

I love theta but they’re still new. Their Instagram is poppin but they still get “leftovers” at recruitment and I feel like this really affects their sisterhood and how the girls get along. A lot of them would never speak to each other had they not all been thrown into theta so I think they need to work on their internal bonding first. They don’t really have a vibe at all and because of this stigma they are less social. They are honestly really nice (most of them) though because they aren’t stuck up about this kinda thing but there are girls who think they are the hottest and got dropped by other orgs for personality reasons so they are very salty and talk a lot of crap

Theta will use dues to delete hurtful reviews. The org is full of cliques and its easy to be left out if youre not part of the popular club.
