Being a pledge my freshman year was truly my favorite time in AY these past 4 years! It made becoming a sister sister that much more valuable and rewarding plus I got so close to my pledge class<3

I was in AY yearsss ago and literally my favorite/most fun time during those 4 years was the rush process and being a pledge! I understand why not every girl is down for AY for their differences but I could not imagine being in any of the other typical sororities. Adored this org and still besties with my big and other girlies I met<3

the rush process was so fun and intimate! they did not talk about the other sororities negatively while I’ve heard from others that the other orgs do. my friends and I also enjoyed their pre-rush party and pledging has been super fun so far.

AY rush party was the worst thing. I want to rush a sorority and I went to their prerush today and felt like they were so mean. I went with a few friends and they only went up to my white friends to talk about rush. It was so obvious and uncomfortable.

I rushed with AY during my time at UCSC. It was the worst experience of my life. They gazed us so much and it was so embarrassing and exhausting. I honestly don’t know how this is legal, please save yourself and don’t rush

Girls are hot and they come through for parties. Plus pledging like we have to is cool and I got close to the girls in same pledge quarter as me which we don’t really get with the other sorority pledge classes since they automatically get in
