As a former officer of Kappa Alpha Theta, I would like to issue all of you an apology on behalf of my sisterhood. For the sisters whose reviews got reported and deleted, I am deeply apologetic for the way that this organization has treated you. It hurts my heart to hear that so many of you are suffering and I agree that the way this cabinet went about the whole Greek Rank situation was very hurtful and is usually not the way we handle things. I apologize for all of the self ranking reviews that invalidate your experiences. Your experiences are real and valid. Even though I have had my fair share of enjoyable moments in Theta, as many others, I understand that it is not 100% sunshine and flower fields all the time. I apologize for not being able to do anything to help. I hope that you all get the help and support you need, and that Theta leaves this stage of denial. To my beautiful officers, I know you all think this is a single person out for vengeance but all of the experiences being shared are truthful and people, YOUR SISTERS, are hurting. Stop thinking that it's someone out to get you, your sisters are asking for help and you're ignoring them, as you've all been doing. Again, to my active sisters who are struggling, I hear you and I love you.

AY is always going to be the quirky, fun sisterhood that every girl wants because they don't have to follow the same rules as panhellenic orgs. that being said, still some really nice, down to earth girls and its obvious that they don't pick members based on their looks. from an outside perspective they have a great sisterhood and while some are stuck up i would say most are pretty normal. they know what they are: a local sorority, and they own it which can't be said about other orgs on campus. their general reputation is being party girls

This org started dying in 2017 it’s officially dead now hopefully we get some new houses on campus soon

I was a PNM during last years' recruitment and I was so excited about Kappa Alpha Theta. I knew that was the sorority I wanted to be in. Unfortunately, I had to drop out for personal reasons and I was devastated. I was looking forward to this years' recruitment and seeing Theta again but this whole situation has completely changed my mind. The rankings were negative and I don't agree with the name-calling but the way it was handled just made the whole thing worse. I noticed that the social media is being used a lot less this year (maybe to focus on sisterhood?) but they could have issued a public statement about the situation instead of having their active sisters self rank and report the "bad" rankings. I agree with a lot of the already deleted rankings, reporting and self ranking only brushed everything under the rug and they didn't deal with it in an appropriate manner. I feel bad for all the girls struggling in Theta and I do not want to be apart of an organization that lets their "popular" sisters bully others (especially on finsta). I wish you guys the best of luck on recruitment but this was all handled so poorly that it's off putting for a lot of the PNMs that I have talked to so far.

All these sororities suck but kappa sucks a little less than the rest. They have drama but not as much drama as Gphi and theta

The girls in theta are nice girls who like to hang out with their sisters and have a good time. They care and help one another.
