we need a tri delta and a sigma chi

Sigma Chi is notoriously selective and not always in a good way. Never even heard of a diverse chapter, my friend goes to a pretty diverse campus here in CA and she said she has only seen one person of color in their Sigma Chi chapter and he was mixed. My guess is thats how they tend to be? I don't think Sigma Chi is a UCR type fraternity if you know what I mean. Can't say anything about Tri Delta. Just love what we got. We have a good Greek community already.

Tri Delts are hot af at every school I've seen them. Starting up at UCR just wouldn't work. May as well ask why there's no Brazilian bobsled team.

A lot of girls hesitated towards Tri delt because first, their presentation was mediocre. Second, while they do have a great philanthropy, it is focused a lot on nashville st. Jude's hospital, which is no where near riverside and the closest st Jude's hospital is an hour drive from riverside. Lastly, new chapters are built by the surrounding chapters and unfortunately all the tri delts in SoCal are bottom tier sororities, which would not help them be successful.

My sister is a Tri Delt and all she ever posts on her Facebook are pictures of her doing Body Image leadership or philanthropy pictures, which I guess is a great thing to have in the sorority community. Apparently they have a lot of successful girls but not a very active social calendar. Their chapter is bottom tier just like the majority of Tri Delt chapters on the West Coast so even if Tri Delt is a 'top national sorority' because it's big and very service oriented, it wouldn't be that great here.

i don't know...from what i know of NPC sororities i'd go tri delt at any school whatever their ranks just because it's tri delta. i came to riverside to pay in state tuition and live close to home tho so....
