rushing as a senior

by: cinna buns

What's the likelihood of an incoming senior getting a bid during fall recruitment for sororities? I've heard that realistically, sororities just want to take in freshmen even though they say they'll be open to other years.

all sororities have given bids to seniors every year. it doesn't matter what year you are when you go through recruitment. but a word of advice: stay off greek rank for questions like these. ask the sororities personally.

just rush, you can't get a definitive answer here bc this place is bs. you'd probably get a bid but most likely not from your first choice

To be honest their target are the freshmens because then they keep the numbers steady for the next four years. If you're a senior you pretty much have to be amazing but don't let it discourage you from rushing! Every sorority ends up picking up a senior here and there.

not one sorority has only freshman in their pledge classes. They have second years, third years AND fourth years. Don't talk about something that you CLEARLY know nothing about
