KA was before my time but yeah 90's and early 2000's. I believe they were kicked off around 2006-2007, but I am not exactly sure. I haven't heard anything about beta theta pi and phi delta theta tho. If you ever go into getaway and look up at the ceiling, they have rush shirts from various fraternities throughout the last 20 years, and I'm pretty sure I've seen shirts from beta theta pi and phi delts from the 90's. I gotta double check tho, one our bros got ahold of a case of pretty old fraternity files and we kind of researched into it all.

Would it be possible for you to email the files? I wanna make a detailed document of all the fraternities at UCR from the beginning and make it public so we can preserve every fraternity's history.

Interesting idea CC, and I bet you could check with student life / conduct to get some balance to "legendary" tales and rumors of how things ended. Conduct keeps individual student files 7 years, but they keep the clubs stuff indefinitely.

I'm of the opinion that groups the school's gone so far as to kick off, deserved it... so preserving history should include cautionary tales and not just idolizing, right? I mean we study history to understand where we came from and avoid repeating mistakes, right, and not just cause dusty old relics are "neato"

Yeah that's what I meant "Project". I'm gonna see if I can get in contact with either one of the offices and see what they say then.
