whoever says that kappas are genuine and down to earth are most likely just selfrating kappas. they're so stuck up and they walk around with their noses high in the air, as if they're better than everyone else. yeah, kappa is the first choice for many girls going through rush, but then they meet the other sororities and kappa doesn't seem all that great anymore. i would know. gamma phi is a lot better than them because at least some of them are actually genuinely nice.

Recruitment with them is so awkward because they just kiss ass to get you to join. It all just seemed really fake to me and once I joined another sorority I was right because the girls that were so sweet during recruitment showed their btchy stuck up attitude to me sfterwards. So grateful I didn't go kappa. My advice to girls rushing is to not be blinded by all the compliments kappa gives. Trust me it's fake.

I like many of the kappas that I talked to. The older girls look like the really get along but I definitely see how some make them seem like they are stuck up. I dont know them really well so I cant really give my opinion on their personalities. but I do know that kappa has their Big and Little Reveal extremely early and one of my friends who went thru rush and joined kappa, told me like 2 or 3 weeks after rush that she got her big and I asked her how she liked her and she said "idk ive never met her" ... I think they should definitely wait to do B/L Reveal until later in the quarter so that their new members can get to know the girls in their chapter better and that way they will be able to find better fits.

They do that so new members will be less likely to drop when kappa reveals their true personalities :/

One of my bestfriends is a kappa and she said that they do this so no one picks favorites and is bias, but they do have daily pair ups with one another just like the other sororities. so you can stop trying to make them look bad now and worry about your own sorority and self.

so im unaffliated and i've been thinking about rushing but anyways i watched the video and wanted to see what MeghanRosette said about her own sorority, and she doesn't say that those girls that unfriended her were even associated with Kappa. What it really says is that her SISTERS helped her out. After really seeing the video for myself, I would really like to meet these Kappas; they seem chill and super sweet for doing that for a SISTER. so thanks . now I know that you're post was FAKE and that you're either a hater or jealous that you aren't apart of Kappa

because they put up a front of having a good sisterhood and have pretty girls, which makes everyone think that they would be a good sorority to join.
