I’m going to be a rushee and I am so excited!
My mom and sister were DGs at USC!!
My best friend is a DG at UCI. My other sister is a Kappa at UCLA.
I feel like I need to follow the footsteps and join (if they’d have me of course) DG or KAPPA!! I really really like some of the ADPs I met on campus but I’m seeing that aren’t really liked.
I want to go with the girls I like the most, but I also don’t want to spend 4 years trying to fight some negative stigma on me that I don’t deserve.
Any thoughts/suggestions??

Trust the process and you'll find the place that you belong. It might not be in a chapter that you'd think, but you will know when you walk in the room, and have the conversations you have, and have the feeling that you don't want to leave the room. Don't listen to the negative stigma and stereotypes, because in the end the only thing that matters is where you are happy

Point blank, go into recruitment with an open mind and clean slate. I know a lot of PNM's are being dirty rushed and talked to by a bunch of different girls. But trust me if you go into recruitment with an open mind you WILL find your home, and for you if that's with DG or Kappa you know it's destined, if it's with ADPi then that's great too! Don't feel forced to go a certain chapter because you are a legacy, and don't listen to all the stigmas about certain chapters.
