girls getting dropped

by: abc

what factors makes a sorority drop a girl other than GPA? My friend rushed last year and she said she and many of her friends got dropped by 4 sororities by the second day. she said they didn't talk about boys, booze, and parties like you shouldn't. they aren't exactly popular and gorgeous and neither am I. I am nervous most houses won't want me because i am not hot, super outgoing, or have the nicest clothes.

All of the sororities have certain criteria that they are looking for, but most reasons for getting dropped are because they think that another house would be a better fit for you. If you are shy or not super outgoing, the houses that could drop you are probably ones that you don't want to be in anyways. I know when I went through recruitment, the houses that didn't want me, I didn't want to be a part of. You have nothing to worry about, there is a good chance you will find a house that you'll click with. Trust the process, and you could find what you are looking for in a sorority.

Honestly what happens sometimes is you may connect really well with someone in one particular chapter, but if you don't connect well with her other sisters, they may drop you. It just comes down to what their looking for and the connection that they feel with you. Girls complain about getting dropped like "Oh my god I loved so and so sooo much" and I'm sure sister so and so loved you too, but the decision to call you back isn't left for only sister so and so to decide. If you want to be called back, focus on the conversations you have! Make sure you sell yourself and present yourself in the best and most genuine way.
