Sad but true my frat is slowly dying. I'm not going to give away my identity but I was a full member of SigEp more than a year after joining (you know what I mean). I even tried to getting involved in the leadership and found out what most other members already know. Sigep is not a frat. We don't do anything like the other frats. There is no brotherhood and hardly any friendship either. Most guys are simply out for themselves. Get as much as you can from it and that is about as good as it gets. Most guys I feel are there just for the resume and alumni networking
Most guys don't pay there dues and nobody bothers to even ask them to collect. If we do have an event, sometimes bros sponsor it out of their own pocket. This is one of the reasons our events are so sketchy party to party for the last few years. No consistency.
Bottom line is that if you are looking to join a top fraternity, Sigep is probably not the place anymore. I'm hopeful this changes in the future but I don't want others to make the same mistake I did.

Sig ep has no brotherhood even though they are small. They also allow their pledges to act like douchebags at sorority date parties.. not a good look. Especially when hes still a sigma :0. Maybe its cause they dont have a pledge process.. but when pledges act superior to their actives..... LOL
