houses
by: RusheeCan someone rank the fraternity houses based on the actual house itself? I know it doesn't mean the chapter is the best I'm just curious. Btw I'm planing on rushing next fall.

KA: huge plantation style mansion that literally overlooks the rest of new row
SAE: nice older house with a great party barn. They own a large lot and have a private lake.
Pike: large tudor style mansion with a good party barn. lots of outdoor space
Theta Chi: biggest house on campus. Very new but doesn't have the most outside space
SNu: nice house with the best location on campus. good party barn
Beta: nice big new row house that's great to party at. not always the cleanest
Fiji: Nice big house in its own location. barely any outdoor space
These rankings don't consider the actual chapter. The property the house is on is important (why SAE is so high)

Snu has no outside space unless you count their front lawn because with an exception to tailgates your cant throw parties out in the front yard if u want to stay off social probation... The only party spot they have is their party barn they are on this list based purely on location and their spotless house...

This might take a while and everything is from word of mouth. From what I've heard Kappa sigma never took great care of the house. It got to a point where they wanted to rebuild but they couldn't because the staircase in their house was designed by a famous architect and is on the national registry. It would have been insanely expensive to rebuild without destroying the staircase. A few years ago the brothers get the bright idea to try and burn the house down to commit insurance fraud. It fails and leaves the house uninhabitable. Now the house stands empty and haunts old row.

If this is based on order, Pike needs to be bumped down below SNu. Their house actually has as much outside space, if not less, than Theta Chi, and their house just can't beat SNu's location.
