would a person like me get a bid?

Hey, I'm joining AU next year but not sure what to expect. I know that Auburn's greek system isn't as exclusive as Bama's, but I am an out of state student with no legacy/family connections. Plus I heard that many fraternities recruit from specific in hometowns in Alabama/Georgia. I am fairly shy but cannot imagine going to college as a GDI. What are the chances of me getting a bid at a decent house?
