finding a big

Need some advice! So I'm a new member in a sorority here and all of my friends have sophomores that are always hanging out with them that they think of as potential bigs. My bid day buddy was a junior so I've really only hung out with a few sophomores but none of them have tried to hang out win my constantly like they have for other girls. I really like the girl that preffed me and think she would be an awesome big, but I've only hung out with her once since bid day. How should I try to initiate hanging out with her first without sounding weird? Since she hasn't tried to hang out with me, is she not interested? I really want to have a big that I'm close to and not just get random
