should i rush again?

I was dropped during recruitment this year and didn't get called back to any houses. My grades and ACT were very high. I was a part of service organizations, honors societies, heavily involved in my church and extracurricular activities, and I directed a major outreach program at my high school for the last three years.

I'm at a loss as to why I was dropped and whether or not I should even consider rushing sophomore year or COB?

Is it okay to go through rush again if you do get dropped the first time or do you stand a better chance if you try for open rush?
