tiers are irrelevant
by: PNMAs a brand new pledge in a sorority, I can definitely say that during recruitment the tiers that you read on here are not even the slightest bit true. At one of the sororities with an "only in state girls" reputation I talked to six girls throughout the week who were all from out of state, at the "super fun and bubbly" sorority I met some awkward girls, and at the sorority supposedly nobody wants to be in I met girls who were passionate about their sorority. There is no sorority that is the prettiest for sure because all of the groups had very diverse groups. Some of the top sororities had overweight or typically not top tier looking girls and a lot of bottom tiers had some gorgeous girls. Basically all of the sororities seemed to me that they were on the same level, they just varied slightly personality-wise. So don't even pay attention to the rankings on here because there is no such thing as tiers at Auburn!

Totally agree. A pnm with the right social standing and connections can get her pick. Others have a variety of choice options. A girl finds her tribe. Her people. But there are top and there is very bottom. Our middle is just very wide and deep. Sort of like a phi Mu"s hips... Haha

Tiers are promoted by top sororities and fraternities everywhere. If anyone complains and says they aren't important look at the ones who are in the bottom tier. Kkg and Kat, are terrible at Auburn. If they are at the top at another school, they are bragging and making tiers important. KD is mid tier & DDD is the worst at my boyfriend''s school, with KKG and KAT being in the lowest tier/ lowest mid tier at best. Pi Phi,& DG & being top top tier & Zta with APHI trying to break thru. Tiers are established and generally hard to break, just a fact of Greek life.
