continuous open bidding
by: RushDoes anyone know how continuous open bidding works? How long does it usually take to get a bid? and do they give out many bids?

You go to the panhellenic office (or Greek Life office) and sign up. You may - or may not - get a call from sororities asking you to come for a movie night, or a coffee date, something casual. You may meet 3-4-5-6 members....maybe more. Very casual. After a week - or two - or four - you may get a call asking you to become a member of that group.
There are no set parties, no big bid day. Just a handful of sororities participate, and sometimes they already know who they want. I doubt many will be recruiting this fall. There may be a few more spots open after winter graduation, but there won't be that many.

A few do have small organized parties where they invite girls and give out bids the next day. Stay positive, several groups will pick up girls this fall.
