conversation
by: WOnderingWhat would be a good conversation during rush? What do actives remember the most about the girls? Im sure our major and hometown don't set us apart since that is what most everybody talks about.

The best way to stand out is to be yourself. I know that sounds so cliche, but after going through rush "on the inside" it's really easy to tell girls apart based on how genuine they're being. Be honest, be vulnerable (especially as the week progresses) and treat each girl you meet as if they're your best friend and you will make a great impression and also find the sorority best suited for you!

Do have a mental list of things to talk about. Actives get brain freeze too, and they're also sick of hometown/major. Stuff you enjoy doing, jobs you've held, summer travel, movies, musicians, fashion,
Ask questions about the sorority - colors, philanthropy, crazy theme parties.
Ask about the active's hometown and major, where she lived freshman year.
Keep a list in your tote and jog your memory between parties.
