so the Auburn Panhellenic website says that only alumns can write any sorrotiy recs but I hear from other people that actives can as well and it just depends on the chapter. I feel like the website would be more correct but idk which one is true?

It depends on the national policy of each sorority. Not on campus panhellenic. You'll have to do some research as to which groups allow actives to write recs and whi h only allow alumnae
