sorority comments

poster is working overtime now that rush is over. Look, sweety, WE GET IT! You hate Phi Mu, Alpha Gam, KD, AOPi, Kappa, Delta Gamma, ADPi, Tri Delt, Gamma Phi, DZ, and probably a couple of others, but the ones I listed are the ones you seem to desperately slam the most. None of us are sure WHY you hate these sororities. They are all full of wonderful girls who I am sure did not intentionally set out to make you so very spiteful and bitter. You should really try to get past it, because, in the first place, it can't be healthy for you, and in the second place ALL of those houses, and every other sorority you might resent are happy where they are and thrilled with their pledge classes---and not paying the least bit of mind to your ridiculous rants. Have a GREAT DAY!!
#932by: You said it all!
The poster below summed it up perfectly! The sad, silly poster who rates low ALL the time on certain groups need something to do with her time rather than sit on here day in and day out. Let it go and find a life how about it?! It is out there believe me...just walk slowly out the door and find something else to do.
#933by: True, but...
don't let the random manipulators get under your skin! We all know what's going on...someone gets on and gives her group all 5's and every other group all 1's. It's part and parcel of the anonymous website. Someone is doing it to get a rise out of people, so don't play into her hands. Let's focus on the positive and not give the haters any attention. Congrats to all of our houses for a fantastic rush!
#934by: Well said...
This was an awesome rush from start to finish for the entire Greek family. So many houses pledged top quality ladies! The fact is, if we give the "silly sad poster" any attention at all, it should probably be to thank her. I really wonder if she grasps the irony in the fact that her efforts to slam so many sororities...pretty much Greeks as a whole...has resulted in sororities actually unifying and making comments to support each other after her little attacks.
#935by: Keep it up!
I know I am mad at what this rater is doing! All our groups did great! If I see all 1's, no matter what group. I will give all 5's to counter this negative rating. Support all the sororities and do not let one "sad" poster ruin the happy faces that I have seen this week!
#936by: Yes!!!
Choosing a sorority house is a bit like choosing a real estate house. Some folks are looking for a traditional house, while others may want a contemporary or even a modern style. Some people prefer to live in a more diverse neighborhood than others. Some people want to invest in that new area that is up-and-coming, while others want the older, already established neighborhood. Some people want to be part of building something new to enrich an existing community. We have something for everyone here, and this community is sacred and wonderful. It is going to be an amazing year!
#939by: All of them!
#940by: Exactly Right!!
This was an incredibly strong rush at Auburn with so many wonderful girls with just amazing resumes going through. The fact is that virtually every sorority on campus pledged girls that ALL of the houses wanted and were rushing hard. That's a GREAT thing for the Greek community as a whole! To list two or three houses and claim that "they" got the great classes is to do a disservice to everyone else. I think pretty much EVERYONE is thrilled with the ladies they pledged, and rightly so. The very last thing we should be doing now is slamming and tearing away at each other... It makes us look like the snobby, elitists that too many people already think we are. We know better, but we need to act like it--I also LOVE the fact that girls from groups like Pi Beta Phi, Delta Gamma, AOPi, and Theta have visited lots of pages on this site, identified what house they are from, and left positive and encouraging notes for fellow Greeks. We should all be following their example! Great Rush, ALL!
