National reputation is not silly. Your sorority must not be good nationally. If you're looking for the strongest nationally, thats usually seen as the oldest and those with the most alumni and current members. most of this can be found on Panhellenics webiste..

According to who is the largest groups nationally, that is who has the most chapters and probably the most members, the list is XO, DZ, ZTA, DG, DDD, KKG, ACO, PBP and KD (in that order). That is what is listed under largest Greek Sororities from each groups own listing on the web. All are at AUburn and all are good. Our groups are all well established and can provide a wonderful college experience.

Anyone have any predictions for recruitment 2009?
I'll bet:
-Gamma Phi, Pi Phi and Delta Zeta will have the best pledge classes because they'll be the most open minded!
-Houses that only accept girls from Alabama will hurt themselves this year.
-The new chapter rooms will be a huge factor during recruitment.
Anybody else have an predictions?

Strongest nationally is only about how many people are members. Some sororities (even very old ones) are not aggressive about expansion to new campuses. Some new ones, like Chi O start a chapter everywhere they can. Does that make them better? No. They're just different.

If you look at several posts for some of the better sororities you'll notice that there are several that look almost the same and are all 1s with a catty and crude remark. Like the same people are getting on different computers and ranking over and over again. It's clear to me that the lower sororities are getting on here and trying to bring others down to make themselves look better. Don't be fooled. These rankings are in no way entirely accurate. It's very disappointing to see how low some girls will go as a result of their own selfish insecurities. Most of the really good sororities have fewer rankings and comments. Let's try to keep it classy ladies.
