Just wanted to take a moment to express sincere condolences and sympathy to the KD chapter here at Auburn. For those who do not know, Kappa Delta lost a sister over spring break. I am sure their hearts are breaking. Delta Gamma knows and values the bond of sisterhood, as do all of the sororities at Auburn. Best wishes to KD during this difficult time.

Love the comment below, this is something everyone can agree on and support KD in this hard time. Thinking of y'all and keeping you in my prayers! Gamma Phi <3's KD.

My prayers are with the KD chapter at Auburn as they mourn the loss of a sister. May she rest rest in peace, and may God bless her family at this very difficult time.

The sympathy expressed for KD should not be seen as an exclusion of Alpha Chi. Media coverage of the recent death in Key West simply means that more people on campus know about it. The posters below spoke of the bonds of sisterhood in ALL of the sororities at Auburn, which would certainly include Alpha Chi Omega. It would have been just as easy, and more helpful, to simply inform them as to the loss of an Alpha Chi sister rather than resort to name calling.

that there had been another death...that breaks my heart. Of course everyone's prayers are with both chapters. My chapter has lost a sister and I truly wish that on no one. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone in both chapters and the girls other friends on campus. It's really uncalled for to compare the deaths and act like one is more tragic, it's tragic to loose anyone.

A friend told me to check this page out if I was planning to rush in the fall. After looking at a bunch of the chapters on the page, I am more confused than ever. It really looks like everybody either has all nearly perfect scores or all terrible scores and there is nobody in the middle. Then everybody says everybody else is giving themselves good scores and other groups bad scores. Well, if everybody is doing that, then you can't believe anybody about any score. I don't know any more about Greek groups at Auburn than I did before.

Don't bother with this website. It's going to cloud your judgement. Check out GreekChat for tips and unbiased talk. You need to go into rush with an open mind, not opinions that you find on here. :)

Thank you for responding. I think you are right. I will graduate from a fairly small high school and neither I or my family know many who did Greek in college. I have been trying to learn about different sororities. It is hard to know what to expect from rush. There does not seem to be much that can help me on this site. Thanks again.

the best way to go through rush is with an open mind! all auburn sororites are great and have smart, beautiful girls. If you want to know about a particular sorority(their philanthropy etc) then go to the auburn university panhellenic website and you can go to the websites of any sorority at auburn! good luck
