I agree with the other comments. Hardly any girls drop Chi-O, Phi Mu, and Kd. They are by far the top 3 sororities at AU.Chi-O and Phi Mu are more your "best all around girls" while KD is a mixture of money and money. Next group would be Pi Phi, AGD, ADPi and AOPi in that order. You are lucky if you get in one of these seven during rush. Pi Phi and Phi Mu have the prettiest girls;while chi-o, and agd have the smartest girls. Kd has the politics on their side.

top 3: phi mu, chi-o, and pi phi. These are the nicest girls on campus. They are also very easy on the eyes.

I think you are definitely right about the top 7 sororities on campus: Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta, Phi Mu and Pi Beta Phi. A PNM is lucky to pledge any of these 7; however, the order in which she ranks them will differ based on her interests. For example, a PNM who values campus involvement and class will choose ADPi or AOPi over Pi Phi. Let PNMs make their own judgements about where they best fit in, rather than pointlessly ranking these top 7!

Since I did not go through rush, I don't really know what all the perceptions are about who is best, worst, or in-between. I only did ratings for Delta Gamma and Tri-Delta, because I have gotten to know several girls from those groups through class projects and from being neighbors. I have found the girls I know from DG and DDD to be sweet, open, friendly and completely classy representatives of their sororities. It has sort of made me regret my original decision to not rush. They don't fit the "snobby" stereotype of Greek girls at all. I am sure all of the Greek organizations have some really great girls.

Don't know how much these ratings are worth. Some are really skewed. My views as a senior with graduation in sight:
TOP TWO: Hard to argue these. Phi Mu and Chi-O are outstanding. Probably interchangeable at the top.
But in 4 years here, KD and Pi Phi have not impressed me at all, so-
THIRD: Alpha Gam. They are insanely low on this list. One of the best groups going on campus. Cute, bright, fun, the whole deal. I suspect their rating has a lot to do with sabotage by others.
FOURTH: Delta Gamma. The "up and comers"- Anyone who does not know that this bunch has become a big presence on campus is simply not paying attention.
FIFTH: AOPi- rated about right. a traditionally strong group that is consistently good year in and year out.
Simply my opinion, but based on four years of active Greek life at AU.

fratsr- is correct. But agd has fallen down in the last couple of years because of their focus being too much on grades. From reading some of the posts, I think that is why this site has them so low. Other sororities have girls with good GPAs but they also have other attributes too. I remember when they were the absolute TOP!

At this moment, Phi Mu has 666 rankings. Take that as you may.
