sorority comments

Will the rooms be hard to find and do we go to them alone or in a group each day? i also was wondering how after we start getting differnt groups to go to, do we still come together as group that we started out with and then go to where we each are suppose to go. I know that this will all be explained when we get there, just concerned!. Also, why do girls keep ranking these groups? Not everyone can get KD, so that just makes it look bad for the other groups. I know you follow your heart, but if everyone who cannot be a KD drops out, then it is bad all the way around. I'd like to hear some good things about all the groups to be honest. ( I doubt I can get in KD since I have no connection) This is making it sound like the sterotyped tv show.

Please say some good things that all the groups do and save the negativity for after rush. I agree that not everyone can get KD and people are making it look like if you don't get them, then drop out. My mom is shocked by the mean things that some of the girls are writing ( she does not remember it being this bad when she was in college) and it really does make the groups look bad. I am sure that each group has some great things that they do, not everyone can win all the time like some do, but surely all have something good about them. If half the girls drop because they do not get invited back to KD, then what has that accomplished? Just wondering...

I've been to this site once to check out the sororities and was amazed at some of the stuff on here. And, yes, your mom was right. Things weren't this way "back in the day". Yes there was some drama b/c there always will be. But, the loyalties and the bonds were tight. I am praying my daughter finds this at Auburn. I hope I guided her correctly. I wish you all a great recruitment. And, remember, sisterhood is forever. Trust me on this one.

You can't be a KD doesn't mean you can't be in a good or even "top" sorority. KD is not the only top tier sorority. Most of the sororities are really good at Auburn except for the bottom three or so. Even if you get a bottom tier sorority you will still have fun and get to enjoy the same benefits every sorority girl enjoys.
1. KD/XO/AGD/ADPi
2. Phi Mu/Pi Phi/AOPi/AXO
3. DDD/EK/DZ/ZTA/DG
4. Gamma Phi/Theta
5. KKG/AZD

about finding your rooms and group each day:
you will have a general meetings where all the pnms will meet the panhellenic officers and all the recruitment counselors. at the meeting you will be divided into your rush groups. everything will be explained at the meeting. you will be well taken care of, don't worry.

This is what a Greek Rank page should look like! By refraining from all of the pettiness that so many of the other Greek Rank pages involve themselves in you've really made it clear that Auburn's Panhellenic community is united and something great to be a part of! Other school should be jealous!
