the posters below are correct in that all the groups are good and have something to offer everyone. The girls that get on here and bash are probably the younger girls going into their soph year. The older girls usually know other girls in other groups so they do not get into the bashing as much. It is called maturity. War Eagle!

Girls you really need to investigate the money it cost to be in a sorority. Last year all my roomies, including me, were new freshmen. We were all in a different sorority. A couple of girls in our apartment had extremely high bills each month. For real, my bill ran around 150.00 a month while theirs ran about 250.00-350.00 a month. Check it out. It costs to dominate. I would say most of the top sororities run about 150-200 depending on what is going on that month. Anything higher, is ridiculous.

Theres nothing rushees can do about that. Panhellenic only gives an average ahead of time and then when they do find out they've already accepted a bid. To ask the cost during recruitment would very much hurt the pnms pledges. Why give a bid to someone who may not be able to afford it when you know you can save that spot for someone who definitely can afford it. It's not the rushees faults.

I think that all the groups at AU are good, and most are great nationally, but add KD to that list of strong national groups as they are a very strong group also. By the way, the company of Vera Bradley is made up run by KD's!!! Strong national groups do tend to have a lot of alums and more groups to join after graduation and a better chance of meeting more of that group if they are a top 10. Again, not one group at AU is bad, they may get bashed on here, but they all do! What ever you get will be great!
