sorority comments

You only need one per sorority. Having more is fine but having a lot like 5 is way too much

I hear some sororities are known for having a lot of "rich girls". And to be in that sorority you have to have a lot of money... During rush, how do these sororities know you have a lot of money or not?

it's the truth. Some sororities look for rich girls, but most aren't concerned with that. All sororities look for different qualities. I don't think their gonna ask questions directly pointed towards money, but they might say I love your shoes and ask where you got them though no sorority asked me questions like that.

If I could rush over, I would pledge Pi Phi, ADPi, Phi Mu, or Chi-O. All these groups seem to have lots more fun than my sorority. We are tooooo serious about everything.

I really do not think anyone would write that about their sorority..so that leaves....

If your rushing also keep in mind what type of sorority you want....
AXO: good girls. smart
ADPi: somewhat smart and involved. most good girls.
Alpha Gam: very smart and involved. good girls.
AOPi: A variety of girls that are genuine and chill. good girls and good grades.
AZD: a big variety. nice.
XO: good grades, involved, good girls, nature type
Tri Delt: party girls. chill
DG: good variety. half party half good girls.
DZ: party girls and chill.
Gamma Phi: like to party. good variety.
KKG: good variety and nice
KD: very involved and good grades. most are good girls.
Phi Mu: girly girls. very nice. most party
Pi Phi: pretty party girls
Sigma Kappa: most party. good variety and chill.
Theta: Nice and a big variety.
ZTA: most party. nice and chill

way to depict sorority life! All out groups are sooo good! There are great and wonderful girls in each group. What ever group one gets, you can have a great time and have lifelong friends. THAT is what sorority is..not the bashing that goes on the rating side. Give all the groups "5"!

KD:ambitious girls who are typically from prominent families
XO: free-spirited, fun, and no-fuss girls
AGD: Known for their stellar GPAs and amazing involvement
Phi Mu: Known for their looks, some are sweet
Pi Phi: Like to go out, usually very stylish and pretty
ADPi: cute, fun, great classy girl next door types
AOPi: sweet, good girls, really involved and well represented on campus
DG: some party girls, some more wholesome types, known for being funny and down to earth
DZ: a little wild, cute, like to go out
AXO: smart, wholesome girls, very nice
Zeta: really cute, sweet and outgoing girls

than sit an write something about each group, I can tell you up front that all the groups are exceptional. I do not think you can define each group since there are so many girls in each one and they are all unique individuals and all have qualities and personalities that you cannot detail as being a specific group. A girl can find some really wonderful friends in any of them.

I am so glad to see that although some girls still insist on the "tier" and "top and bottom sororities" thing, most of the AU sorority girls quit the bashing. Greek life is awesome! All sororities are great! The best sorority is the one that makes you happy, and that you love. Go through rush with an open mind and you won't regret it. Each group is unique and has so much to offer. Also, remember that the girls in a sorority aren't all the same, so you will definitely find someone you like. WAR EAGLE!
