sorority comments

Ok, nationally the top sororities are Pi Phi, Kappa, Theta, Tri Delt, Chi Omega, Delta Gamma and Alpha Phi (not necessarily in that order). Point being, the world does not revolve around Auburn or the south. Some of the sororities that are strong at SEC schools have NO presence or prestige elsewhere. Expand your horizons people.

we have 17 really great sororities! They all have something to offer girls as they begin their college life at Auburn. I think KD is really strong nationally also, maybe not to the extent it is at Auburn, but KD is good at many places, but like you said, all these groups are good nationally. Any of them will be great for a girl!

Not one group is a bad choice for anyone looking to be in a sorority. Girls just get on here and rate others low, but in reality, most people I know have friends in all the groups. I certainly do.

Go to whichever sorority you feel the best about, but if you want to know the top ones, not in any order, it's chi-o, kd, pi phi, alpha gam, adpi, and phi mu.

This is MY opinion of each sorority (you don't have to agree):
AXO- smart, nice girls.
ADP- fun, pretty girls.
AGD- very smart, nice, and pretty.
AOP- fun, nice, pretty.
AXD- nice, down to earth girls.
XO- all around great girls.
DDD- so fun and pretty.
DG- fun, sweet, real.
DZ- fun, nice girls.
GPB- fun and sweet.
KAT- real, sweet.
KD- beautiful and fun.
KKG- nice girls.
PM- gorgeous, fun girls.
PBP- so fun, pretty.
SK- pretty, fun, smart.
ZTA- fun and sweet.

THAT list is the way someone who is mature and has friends SHOULD list our groups! I agree completely! We have great girls in all of them.

Level 2: AOPI,DDD,DZ,DG.SK,AX

If you want to be in a sorority that fits the Best All Around category, pledge
pi phi,chi-o,phi mu,or adpi. These four are fun, beautiful,nice, and out going groups.

like there is a girl trying hard to place her group really high...wonder who???..agree with the normal girls below that all the groups are good and a girl should be happy if she gets into any of them. Check out the school yearbook..all the sororities are filled with about the same amount and every group looks good.

Stop this "tier" thing! I don't think y'all realize this, but all you are doing is making girls not want certain sororities and that isn't a good thing. You know why? Because rush is hard and not everyone will be able to get in those sororities people mention as "tops". Also, I bet a lot of sororities don't want certain girls either. So many girls already get cut, and more will decide to drop if they think some sororities are bad. Girls should feel lucky to get into ANY sorority, because they are all great and hard to get in to. Yeah, some have more tradition, some have prettier girls, and some have better grades, but they are all amazing! Our greek system is so strong, please don't ruin what we have.
