Be kind just because. There is no reason for other girls to bash other girls. It seems on this site, KD, Chi-O, Phi Mu, Pi Phi, and AGD get bashed a lot. You know, that tells me that they are probably the good sororities. Jealousy is very unbecoming to a real lady.

KD- b%$@# who become lawyers, senators and politicians. They sleep their way to the top or buy their way to the top. Ruthless busness women.
Chi-O's : teachers, pharmacist, public relations, marketing, Vets, good decent jobs
Alpha Gam: teachers, doctors, engineers, Vets,missionary, house wives.
Phi Mu: Public relations, Marketing Execs, decorators, teachers, humanitarians, Vets,realistate, models.

You can't tell what someone's profession will be strictly based on her sorority affiliation. That's just ridiculous. But here's one thing you can tell. If you're a KD, everyone thinks you're annoying and you think you're awesome. If you're a Chi O you're a "nature" chick and probably alright. If you're a Phi Mu then you're destined to be some overly indulged housewife who's obsessed with botox and plastic surgery. If you're an AOPi you're probably going to be a minivan driving soccer mom. If you're an AXO you're probably going to teach Sunday School and still be a virgin when you get married. If you're an Alpha Gam you'll probably either marry your study buddy or you'll invest too much time in your career to have a real life. If you're a Pi Phi you'll probably party into your 30s. If you're a KKG, GPHIB, or AZD then you'll probably always fail at being as good as everyone else. If you're a ZTA/DZ then you have no respect for yourself. If you're ADPi/DDD/DG/EK then you're just normal.

Hey, wait a minute. My Mom was/is a Phi Mu. She is a soccer mom, baseball mom, and cheer mom. She is also a Pharmacist that works 4 days a week and makes more than my Dad. My aunt was/is a Chi-O and she is a school teacher. Neither believe in plastic surgery.

Nobody cares about what your mom does or how much she makes. Sororities are different now than they were 25 years ago when your mommy was in one. Phi Mus at auburn are as fake as they come. That list is actually pretty accurate. The personalities of girls in those groups fit those exact stereotypes.

Why is correct. Ridiculous is ridiculous. Also, "who cares" needs to pay attention to "too funny" Some girls are just kinder and smarter than others. Too funny is trying to say that girls cannot be sterotyped by their sorority. I agree with Why and too funny. They have common sense.

I agree that ridiculous is ridiculous!! This site is not to start saying that girls in other sororities will not ever be good in life! How silly! Statement must be from a very immature girl who has no thought process in what the future holds. She would be amazed at how many women from these "other" groups that she is talking about with such a mean tone might help her, or her family, out in ways that she has no idea. Doctors, lawyers, teachers, coaches, etc.. and there'snothing wrong with being "a great mom", all fall as titles to all the groups moms and women and each group has women that have contributed to making this world better in some field. I know it is all just talk when girls get on here and bash others, but it's just stupid to try and catagorize what the future holds for everyone by saying if they will succeed or not. With her personality, my vote would be that she will not and I do not even care what group she's in! Get real and gain some depth in the maturity level

I read the "Ridiculous" post and what it said may have been mean but lots of those stereotypes are completely true about the sororities at Auburn. Pi Phi is a party group, Alpha Chi is more "conservative", Phi Mu's girls do tend to be a little materialistic and fake, and so on. What was said wasn't very nice and there are great girls in all of the groups at auburn but it was still somewhat true. I think some girls in those groups (like the posters below me) just didn't like what was said. You shouldn't let one person's opinion bother you that much.

that the comment that "ridiculous" made was based on ALL groups as a whole, that each group is the same all over the nation. I read the comment and I came to the conclusion that it was meant as a slight against the groups that she listed. THAT is silly and silly to say that all the girls at AUburn can be sterotyped either. I have been in classes where I could swear that a girl was in one sorority, but find out that they are in another...or not one at all. Most girls are individuals and can make their own decisions that I know. Not all girls are clones as ridiculous believes.
To make rash statements about sterotyping wold mean that every girl, every where, in a certain group would be the same, which they are not, therefore that is wrong to assume that.
