sorority comments

It's a top 6 for sure. I just went through rush and see things totally different. Phi Mu, KD, AGD and ADPi were so above the rest. I wanted to go to a final four not a final three party day.It was a difficult decision. XO and Alpha Chi just do not have any flashy qualities. A little to weak for my taste. Also, Xo and Alpha Chi just do not have the WOW! factor. My aunt was a Chi O. She loved them. I guess different thought patterns. By the way, AOPi and Pi Phi round out my top 6! Also, this is a funny site. It's fun to see different opinions about different sororities.

Backwards you are right-on with one exception. I did like AOPi lots. I agree in that Chi-O was disappointing at rush. I agree, different thought patterns is what makes the world go around. KD, Phi Mu, and ADPi seem very much alike to me. Add Aopi and I had problems deciding. It seemed like lots of girls liked these four during rush. Really, if you stand back, Auburn has 8 really good sororities that any girl should be proud to be apart. I am glad. I like the competition between the sororities.

Girls, Girls, Girls...Whatever group you are in is the best one. Not all the groups must get on here and whine about who is the best. How silly that college age women feel as though they must descend to this level of rating and ranting about the groups. Each of AU sororities have so much to offer and they do. My own sorority should be at the top, and maybe they are, but I certainly do not feel the need or desire to cut all the groups like some are doing on here. Thank goodness I have friends in each of these groups and I can see hw good they all are. I certainly feel that my group is "the best", but I know that there are several great friends that I wish were in my own that are in other groups. Lighten up and enjoy college life! War Eagle!!

I just checked this website for the first time and I really wish I hadn't. Y'all are all so mean to each other! It makes the sororities at auburn look tacky! All of them!!!!! We have a great greek system and should all be proud of each other! Go for a run, have lunch with friends, hit the bars anything but stay off this website! It is bringing us all down. I hope the girls coming through rush next year don't read this! They wont want any of us!!!!!!

I also agree with rukdn. We all represent Auburn University. We do a lot of positive things. Let's stop the bashing and love one another. The top 10 does look about right,eventhough my sorority is not #1. Actually, anyone in the top 8 could be at any given time.

Agree that we need to quit bashing each other. ANY sorority should be #1 with their members! There are several groups that have great alumni support and they have a large legacy pool to chose from, after those groups, you can put any group in any place. They are all good and they all have great girls. Auburn should be proud of the good groups that represent the school and their members!

I love how girls try to write on here about how the better sororities have such nice things to say and that's why they're better blah blah blah. I've heard many thoughtless rude remarks from every group on this site. Especially the top five. Every single sorority has been represented badly in some way, shape, or form. The truth is, if you really think that the greek letters you wear makes you any better than anyone else, then you need to get a life. And that's all this site is about, each group fighting to prove that they are better than the one next to them. This proves just how insecure and miserable most of these girls really are.

Being a freshman, I notice everything. I did not rush this year,but will for sure next year. Two of my roommates pledged this fall. I am glad I did not rush this year so I can see the individual girls for who they really are in my classes.Sigma Kappa, Kappa Delta, Phi Mu and Zeta all seem really nice. The girls always speak in class and when they recognize me on campus. That really means a lot. A couple of these top sororities act like I do not exist in class. They are almost snobby. I am glad I decided to wait to rush. I know of 4 groups I really like.

So Sigma Kappa sneaks its way into several little "comments" but honestly, they are in no way comparable to KD, Phi Mu, or Zeta. Glad you like them, but please don't be confused. They are not THAT good.
