They are all good. Strange that someone is writing this stuff as if they want groups to argue about tiers.

NO-I don't want anyone to argue! I was reading through the comments and wondering WHY people insist on creating tiers when it seems like ALL are good. Sorry if I came across as trying to start an arguement.

Have friends in each. Be happy to get a bid to any of them! Pan <3 to all!

that there are no tiers and that is why AU has such a great system. All the groups get along so well. I too have good friends in all of them and I am much happier for that very reason!

Does Auburn Panhellenic host a spring recruitment review like UofA?

I'd like to address some misconceptions that some have about Greek life. I keep reading on these pages that you might as well not try to join a sorority if you do not have lots of money. This is just not true. My husband and I have jobs that we love, in fields that do NOT pay high salaries. Our daughter has a partial scholarship and works part time to help meet costs. Yes, we do make some sacrifices so that she can be involved with her sorority because she loves it so much, but believe me, we could not do this if it were through the roof expensive. We do not have six car garages or beach homes and trust funds. While there are girls in her group whose families are financially well off, she has never been treated as anything but a sister by these ladies or their parents. Don't avoid Greek life because you think you have to be wealthy. There are ways to make it work. Leave old ideas behind and find out for yourself if it is something you would be happy doing. War Eagle!!

sorority cost at Auburn is some of the most affordable in the county! Average cost is about $1200 for the year! Pledge year is a little more with initiation fee. Some of the variables are how many zap pictures, tshirts etc you buy and formal costs. Auburn is definitely not a place to let the cost keep you from doing it! Plus everyone at Auburn is so friendly-everyone welcomes everyone so it doesn't matter how much you have in the bank ;)

Top - these houses have been at auburn forever and are most respected/well known around campus. They're typically the prettiest, all involved, great grades, and very hard to get into.
Phi Mu, Chi O, KD

All these houses are pretty interchangeable. They are all great with cute girls and anybody would be happy to be in these houses
Upper Middle-
AOPI, ADPI, Alpha Gam
Middle - Pi Phi, Gamma Phi, Sigma Kappa, AXO, DZ, Zeta
Lower Middle- DG, Tri Delt

Bottom- even though it says bottom these sororities still have GREAT girls that are super involved fun and sweet. The chapters are just newer, less well known and can have random girls.
KKG, AZD, Theta

There's no rating system at Auburn and all the groups are very good. Seems someone is just trying to start something.
