Go to rush and keep yur eyes and ears open to all the groups. Hopefully, you will find the place that you fit in best and will be happy. I have known many girls that have almost not pledged because the one that they wanted cut her, but they did and they have been quiet happy with their choice. All of the groups have gotten quota for years so they are all going to have many great girls to meet. Good luck with rush!

On average, how much a year are sororities at AU?

Auburn grad from Atlanta. Daughter going to AU in fall. I see my sorority is still tops but need feedback; which ones have good number from atlanta area?

I know that certain cuts are made based on GPA...BUT do the sororities take into consideration the rigor of the school and program? If the majority of hs credits were AP courses or dual college credits? A "B" in an AP class or dual college class is not the same as a B in a standard hs class.I guess I am asking if you look strictly at the GPA without consideration of anything else?

There are going to be so many girls going through recruitment that got IB diplomas all while playing soccer, being the captain of the cheerleading squad, volunteering, etc. and STILL managed a 4.0. There is no excuse for anything below a 3.0. If you have below a 3.0, do NOT rush. You will told to go through it anyway, but you shouldn't. You might make it to skit day, but you're not going to get a bid unless your bad grades can be made up for by you knowing a lot of girls in the chapter, having great recs, etc. Don't waste your time until unless you have a 3.0+!
