I am considering transferring here as a junior. I am an AOII legacy and have good connections with several sororities. What are my chances of getting a bid?

Why would you want to be in a pledge class with a bunch of Freshmen girls? You can have a great experience at Auburn and not go greek.

I'll be honest.
Your chances won't be great. You'll need to keep the old open mind. Unless you have personal connections within a group, you probably won't be invited back to a top groups. BUT...don't be so picky, and it's possible. There are no BAD sororities at Auburn.
Enjoy the ride.

If you have "connections", I'm sure they have told you that it is difficult to get a bid from any group when they have the choice of a girl who is a freshman or a junior. Sorry, by the time you are a junior, you are too old for pledge swaps (I mean, the guys are 18!) and things the younger girls in the pledge class would be involved in. Unless you had a definite bid, look into trying out for some of the campus organizations. They are very involved and you can make some great friends. It would be difficult to become best friends with girls 2-3 younger in your pledge class and the older members probably already have found their niche and it would be hard to work your way in.
