pre rush
by: worriedA friend of mine who is also going to attend Auburn and most likely rush was told by the younger sister of a girl who is a sophomore KD that they are interested in her and have stalked her Instagram, Twitter, etc. I know that most girls probably look at girls who are planning to rush on social media, but should I be worried because I don't have those connections? Would you say that the majority of girls going through rush do have connections?

I came to auburn and didn't know a single person. I went through rush with an open mind and stayed true to myself. I joined a sorority I love, and had no "inside connections" to. That being said, now that I'm on the inside and have seen the process, sororities put a lot more work into pre-rush than you'd expect... Use your social media to your advantage because "aubie" was right, you never know who is looking.

If the girl is being stalked already by KD, then she is already known due to having friends or relatives in KD. It is just January, so she probably has been associated with them through these members and knows them by this point in time. Follow Aubie's advice above and since you know the younger sister of a KD sophomore, maybe she can introduce you to her sister.
