Is it best to live on campus if you're planning on joining a sorority?

Most sororities ask the rising Sophmore girls to live on the floor. I would suggest doing it for one year. It brings you closer to the girls in your sorority and the activities of the sorority.

It's best to live on campus your first year anyway.

Do you live in the sorority house the second year?

Are there not sorority houses? What's a "floor"?

Auburn does not have sorority houses. Each sorority has beautiful dorms with chapter suites. The girls have the option during Sophmore year to live on the dorm floors that surround their suite.

Most require girls to live on the hall one year and if you are an officer, then usually you are required to live on the hall during that time.

Why aren't there any houses? Seems like that is a lot nicer than dorms--even if they are "nice".

Is Auburn considering building houses? That sure would be nice.

Wow! I didn't know Auburn didn't have sorority houses. Weird. I think I would miss that.

The sorority dorms are really nice and they are close to everything. If you can, and most sororities ask their new pledges, live on the sorority halls for at least one year. Safe and close.
