DO NOT GET YOUR HEART SET on one sorority. KD has a lot of legacies and a lot of girls who already know each other- recs are only important in the fact that you have one; I had a rec from a nationals exec member for Tri-Delt and was cut second round; just get someone who knows you and can vouch for you and keep an open mind anout where you want to be. KD is a great sorority, but they're not for everyone!

If you do not know any alums with pull by this time, forget it. KD is the oldest on campus and there are so many KD alumni that want to get their daughters in that there is very little wiggle space for anyone whose mom did not graduate from Auburn. A few get in whose moms were from other schools, but it is usually large schools and the mom has made friends with KD alums from AU in trying to get ready for the big event.
