giving credit

DZ has the best grades out of all of the sororities, and yet are not considered a "smart" sorority. AXO is literally everywhere, involved in everywhere, which such scarily impressive resumes, and yet aren't considered "top". AZD has Miss Auburn University, a gorgeous girl representing our school, and yet isn't considered a "pretty" organization. I really don't get it. How can organizations make such vast improvements, which actual proof of what they hae accomplished, and yet we don't give credit where credit is due?

I think all of the sororities are given credit over and over with posts that say "all" of Auburn's sororities are great. Here ya go with specific affirmations.....so, Wow! Congratulations DZ for great grades and AZD for having a Miss Auburn! Again, all of Auburn's sororities are great!

Not really, if you look at a lot of the posts they say that AXO is not a good sorority, or that DZ is not smart, or that AZD is "just kind of there". It's a valid point.

Honestly, that's why I hate ranking, because I feel like it's completely off; although, it's not just the rankings, people have strong opinions about the personality of each organization, whether or not they're true.

but not because a group is not as good, it is simply due to which groups have a high legacy rate and that particular group maybe wanted more since so many legacies are going through and only a small percentage can be taken by certain groups who have been on campus a long time. As time progresses and more sororities gain older status, then they will have larger legacy groups go through. All the sororities have some really wonderful girls and all the groups hold many offices in a lot of organizations on campus. I saw where ZTA, KKG, AXO and AXD all are elected high officers of Panhellenic with the KKG being President. This just proves how good all our sororities work together. My group has been one of these higher offices several times and it really is an honor. Congratulations to these girls and all the women who hold Panhellenic offices.

It is just a preconceived idea that will eventually disappear as all the sororities even out. This year's rush proved that with so many wonderful girls pledging each group. Not to be redundant, but all the sororities are really good. All are super involved.
