This almost has nothing to do with sororities but I'll still ask. Where do you guys recommend living if you are planning to join a sorority? I really want to live in an apartment because that is cheaper and I'll have my own space. But living in a dorm my first year would be a good idea because that way I can make friends and the sorority halls are right down the street. What do you guys recommend? Do you think I'll be okay in a sorority if I live in an apartment? No mean questions this is a genuine question. Thanks guys!

You didn't have any problems socializing or going to meetings or anything?

I live in the village this year, as a freshman, which is extremely nice because I am a minute walk from my chapter room. However, not many other girls in my sorority live in the village. Most are in the quad and have bonded through that. Regardless, you definitely are not at a disadvantage by living off campus. You have so many opportunities make friends from the swaps and meetings; as long as you put yourself out there, you should be fine!!
