Which dorm is best for freshman sorority girls beside the quad and hill? Like S. Donahue or the Village? I realize it would be impossibly hard to get a dorm in one those but I'm just wondering.

South Donahue is the nicest, but it is also very expensive. The Village is very convenient to the sorority halls which would be great during rush week and during the year when you need to go chapter meetings and swaps and socials. Try your hardest not to get the Hill at all costs. The Quad is actually pretty nice and very convenient to classes, you can just roll right out of bed minutes before class and still get to almost any class on time, and its about a ten minute walk from the sorority halls. The upper quad is even nicer and more convenient, one of my friends who wasn't even in the honors program was lucky enough to get put there last year. Hope this helps! Good luck with rush and War Eagle!

Thanks so much for this! Which one would YOU pick though if you were going through rush? The village or South Donahue?

Personally I'd go village. I "have the money" for S. Donahue but I do not think it is worth the extra cost per semester. The village is fine and the extra money saved can go towards sorority events and such.

Don't know who "@wondering" is, I'm the OP of the original comment, but I agree with the poster above about the village, although not with their reasoning of why. The village would be more convenient for freshman year in a sorority, like I mentioned it would be easy to get to chapter meetings and swaps and socials and still have time to do your homework and study beforehand, and wouldn’t have to worry about setting aside extra time to walk to the village from south Donahue. And its right next to village dining, so if you randomly got hungry it would be right outside your dorm

Nope- go with the Quad. Most convenient and pretty much all freshman.
